Lent 2021

Lent begins on Wednesday, February 17 with Ash Wednesday and calls us into a period of prayer, fasting and giving for 40 days as we travel to the cross and tomb. Resources are listed below to assist you and your family in keeping a holy and life-giving Lent.

  • adult daily devotions for lent

    This beautiful, full-color Lenten devotional highlights readings from the gospel of Mark with 46 entries, one for each day from Ash Wednesday to Easter. Each reading is accompanied by a photo, a quote to ponder, a reflection, and a prayer. This accessible and colorful format makes it easy to incorporate a simple Christian observance into your Lenten journey.

    Copies will be available in the Commons or may be mailed or delivered upon request.

  • The way of the cross: March 28, 5 PM

    Members and friends of Epiphany will stage a live retelling of Jesus’ journey from Palm

    Sunday to the cross. The event will happen outdoors and the retelling will be broadcast

    over our FM radio station to people in their cars in the parking lot. People will be able to see the story unfold before them and sing hymns together in their cars.
