Summer brings warm days and opportunities to connect with community and grow in faith in lots of ways. Below are Faith Formation summer offerings to connect faith, community and you!
In cooperation with EYG, Timothy Ministers, and the Fellowship Team, you're invited to a Youth Talent Show on the lawn outside Price Hall. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and join us for an evening of talent, pizza and community from 5-7 pm with the show beginning at 5:30 pm. Sign-up here by June 9 to reserve your spot on the lawn and be sure to indicate in the comments what type of toppings you'd like on your family's pizza.
This year VBS is taking a different shape as a one-day outdoor event on Sunday, July 18. Families with 5th graders and below are invited to choose from one of two afternoon sessions (1:00-2:30 pm or 3:00-4:30 pm). We hope you’ll come along with us as we learn the story of the Good Samaritan! Parents will accompany children through each of our stations as we explore through story, games, crafts and service how God is with us in all things, how God teaches us to care for one another, and how God gives us community to care for each other. Sign-up here.
Bring your own chairs and picnic blankets and join us on the lawn of Epiphany for a viewing of the movie Just Mercy. A small group discussion will follow the movie. Bring your own snacks and drinks! Copies of the book are available in the Commons if you want to add it to your summer reading list, or check it out from your local library. Sign up here.
